Kristi Rogers, MEd, LPC-Associate
Supervised by Dr. Gregory Scott Sparrow, EdD, LPC-S

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) in the State of Texas, and I earned a Master of Education in Counseling and Development from Lamar University.

I have a passion for helping individuals, couples, and families build healthier relationships and create meaningful change. I enjoy helping couples strengthen their connection, improve communication, work through conflict and infidelity, and navigate life's challenges together.
I welcome clients of diverse ages, backgrounds, identities, and relationship structures. I am committed to providing culturally responsive and LGBTQIA+ affirming counseling in a respectful and inclusive environment where clients feel heard, valued, and supported.
I also work with clients experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, grief and loss, stress, life transitions, parenting concerns, and difficulties with coping or personal growth. I recognize that accidents, injuries, chronic pain, and changes in physical functioning can also affect emotional well-being, relationships, and daily life. Counseling can provide support as clients adjust, cope, and continue to move forward.
My counseling style is warm, collaborative, strengths-based, and tailored to each client's unique needs and goals. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I draw from evidence-based practices to find strategies that best support each client.
Whether you are seeking support for yourself, your relationship, or your family, my goal is to help you build on your strengths, develop healthier ways of coping and connecting, and move toward positive, lasting change.
My professional training, combined with life experience, allows me to bring empathy, authenticity, and understanding to the counseling relationship.
I offer virtual counseling as well as Walk-and-Talk sessions for clients who prefer incorporating movement and an outdoor setting into therapy when appropriate.
